The farm’s unique atmosphere—a blend of bucolic serenity and vibrant energy—is informed by Billiam’s youth spent between the sophisticated social circles of Europe and the creative pulse of New York City.

Having gleaned knowledge from years of attending and hosting high-level fundraisers and events, Billiam brings a refined eye to the smallest details, knowing that spectacular aesthetics and intentional design create the most profound visual impact.

The Architectural Approach to Celebration

Every inch of the farm has been intentionally planned with a designer’s precision.

  • Intentional Flow: The principal site plan was engineered to ensure a seamless "flow" for guests as they move through the 20 gardens. Even the functional details—like parking—are tucked away out of sight but remain conveniently close.

  • A Curated Backdrop: The gardens and views serve as a sophisticated "clean slate." Whether you envision something minimalist or elaborate, the farm’s architecture supports your vision.

  • Producers, Not Just Staff: We call our team "Producers" because we view our wedding couples as the Stars. With a core team that has worked together for 15, 20 and even 25 years, our level of synchronized service is unsurpassed in the Hudson Valley.

  • Innovation for Good: My history with fundraising and produce donations is a core pillar of the farm. We believe that the Modéré philosophy—the "moderated" and intentional approach—applies just as much to our community impact as it does to our events.

    • Victory Over Hunger: This initiative is the heartbeat of Liberty View Farm, where we use our platform as a wedding venue and working farm to actively fight food insecurity in our community.

    • The Wedding Foundry Mission: As part of the Modéré philosophy, we donate a portion of our wedding profits to local non-profits, including Family of New Paltz and the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.

 

At Liberty View Farm, we have hosted weddings for nearly two decades.

A Moderé Wedding lives between the micro wedding and the traditional wedding. It is intimate, yet full of energy. Elegant, yet unfussy and not complicated. Curated, yet deeply personal.

The other concept of collaborating with all the vendors further ensures for a smoother running operation for planning and day of. It’s great for all the staff as well because unlike other venues the team knows the farm intimately and all of our team members know our very high standards.
